Pickup Truck Crashes Into Bloomingdale Home

Police said residents were asleep when a vehicle crashed into the front of their house.

A pair of Glenwild Avenue residents woke up to a pickup truck crashed into the front of their home on Wednesday.

The residents only saw the vehicle briefly before the driver fled the scene around 2:30 a.m., police said. The residents noticed a toolbox in the bed of the truck.

Neither of the residents were injured, police said, but damage to the residents' vehicle and front porch and railing was sustained. Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle and also contacted West Milford police.
