Police Investigating Attempted Burglary at Sisco School
Alarm appeared to have scared attempted burglars away.
are investigating an apparent attempted burglary at the on Saturday.
Police said Ptl. Melissa Huizenga responded to a burglary alarm at the school, which houses the offices, and found a door left swinging open. Police searched the building and found that a window screen had been cut and a window was pushed open.
The Morris County Sheriff’s Department Criminal Investigation Unit and Kinnelon police Det. Sgt. David Crouthamel responded but found nothing to be reported missing. Police determined that it appeared the alarm scared away the individual or individuals involved.
