Police Investigating Stolen Aluminum

Main Street business owner believes thief or thieves fled scene suddenly.

are investigating a report of stolen aluminum that was left outside a Main Street business the night of June 10 and appeared to have been stolen by the next day.

The report was filed by the business owner, who was not named, on June 11. Police said the owner believed the person or persons who stole the aluminum may have fled the scene suddenly since some aluminum was found to be left on the ground.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 973-838-0158.

  • Daniell Tate, 29, of West Milford, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on June 10 after the vehicle she was driving was stopped on Hamburg Turnpike. Police said she was stopped by Ptl. Kevin Peirsel and was transported to the Bloomingdale police station after the warrant, out of West Milford, was discovered. She was later released to a friend after posting bail.
  • Thirty-seven-year-old Maha Elsadekattia, of , was issued summonses for failure to report an accident and leaving the scene of an accident on June 13 after police said she was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle accident on Sunset Road, in Morse Lakes, in which she was driving a white SUV when she struck a parked car. Police said a witness allegedly observed her then leaving the scene. Police said the vehicle and Elsadekattia were located in Lake Iosco and she was issued the summonses and released with a date to appear in court.
