Prosecutor's Office Holding Career Development Workshop

Starts Feb. 1 and continues through April 4 at Morris County Public Safety Training Academy.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Community Affairs Unit will be holding a law enforcement career development workshop at the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy starting Feb. 1 and continuing through April 4.

The program, which the office says is the first of its kind in New Jersey and gives students assistance in pursuing careers in law enforcement, is in partnership with a number of local colleges.

The prosecutor’s office says the candidates, many of which are women and minorities, are exposed to various careers in law enforcement and taught tips to successfully master interviewing, dressing professionally, the importance of financial literacy, and social media etiquette.
