Riverdale Man Charged With DWI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bloomingdale Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Riverdale man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after Bloomingdale police said he was stopped on Main Street for alegedly speeding last Monday.

According to police, Peter Federico, 49, was driving on Main Street at 9:24 p.m. when he was stopped by police. Police said he allegedly displayed signs of intoxication and was arrested and transported to the station.

In addition to being charged with DWI, Federico was charged with speeding and failure to keep right. He was released to a family member with a ticket to appear in court at a later date. His vehicle was impounded.

Police are investigating a possible criminal mischief incident at that occurred on Wednesday. According to police, a employee reported that damage had been done to the door of the women's bathroom. Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 973-838-0158.

A Hackettstown woman was arrested on an active warrant out of Mount Olive Township in Bloomingdale on Wednesday. According to police, Kelly Lancaster, 36, was driving on Hamburg Turnpike at about 3 p.m. when police stopped her and noticed the warrant. Lancaster was arrested and transported to the police station. She was released in her own recognizance with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
