60 Cartons of Cigarettes Stolen From Kinnelon Gas Station

Police investigate burglary at the Getty Gas Station on Route 23 South.

are investigating the theft of 60 cartons of cigarettes from a Route 23 gas station.

According to police, officers responded to an activated alarm at the Getty gas station, at 1155 Route 23 South, at about 2:55 p.m on Saturday.

Police said upon arriving at the gas station, they noticed the lock on the front door had been removed and that the door was open. Police said a check of the building revealed that about 60 cartons of cigarettes were taken, with a value of just over $4,000.
