Three Arrested on Warrants in Butler
The following arrest information was supplied by the Butler Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Three individuals were separately arrested on warrants in the last week.
Joseph A. Moskwa, 30, of Hewitt, was arrested on Thursday at 3:20 p.m. said they conducted a random license plate inquiry on the 2001 silver Toyota pickup truck Moskwa was driving when they found him to have a warrant out for $265 from the East Newark Municipal Court. Moskwa was arrested but was able to post bail, police said, and was released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
Also on Thursday, at about 4:21 p.m., Joseph Arch, 29, of Netcong, was driving when he was stopped at the intersection of Route 23 and Morse Avenue for a traffic infraction. Upon further investigation, police said they discovered an outstanding warrant for Arch's arrest from the Jersey City Municipal Court for $250. Arch was arrested and transported to the Butler police station and an appearance in Jersey City Municipal Court was scheduled.

The third arrest also was made on Thursday at 11:55 p.m. when police conducted a random license plate inquiry on Route 23 north and found that the registered owner of a vehicle, Cheryl L. Bauer, 32, of Boonton, had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest from the Parsippany Municipal Court for $89. Bauer was arrested and transported to the Butler police station. She was released in her own recognizance with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
