Wanaque Man Arrested for Outstanding Warrants
Police: Driver has suspended license, outstanding arrest warrants in other towns.
A Wanaque man was arrested Monday night when Butler Police discovered outstanding warrants for his arrest following a motor vehicle stop on Hamburg Turnpike.
A routine check on the driver found a suspended license following the stop at about 10:50 p.m., police said. A subsequent check by Police Sgt. Soules revealed that the driver, Daniel Villanueva, 25, also had several outstanding arrest warrants in Pompton Lakes, totaling $734.00, and Paterson, totaling $600.00, police said.
Villanueva was taken into police custody in Butler and charged with operating an unregistered vehicle, operating with a view obstruction and operating while suspended, police said.

Villanueva posted bail and was released pending court appearances in Pompton Lakes, Paterson and Butler municipal courts, police said.
