BASS President Ellen Ribitzki said Wednesday that while she's hopeful BASS is offered a contract, she is not confident.
"We've had many, many promises before. We do hope this time they will offer us a contract," she said.

Ribitzki said BASS has been in negotiations over the contract since the borough's last council meeting Dec. 13. She also said she is hopeful that the terms are acceptable by BASS' standards.
"We're hoping for a contract our animals can live with at this point," she said.
