'Bud Bennett Day' Proclaimed by Mayor and Council
100-year-old Bloomingdale resident honored.
Laurence "Bud" Bennett got quite a birthday present this year as the Bloomingdale mayor and council proclaimed Oct. 14, 2011 "Bud Bennett Day" at a council meeting Tuesday night.
The 59-year resident of the borough was crowded with family members and friends as he was honored.
