The will stop and remember all the lives that were lost ten years ago on 9/11 at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

All borough employees are being asked to cease activity for 60 seconds and, as sirens and bells ring out, honor the victims as part of the national Stop & Remember movement.

Borough Clerk Mary O'Keefe asked the Butler Council if they would be interested in participating Tuesday. After the council unanimously agreed, the borough's name will now be added to the national list of participants.
