Congressman to Visit Local Schools

U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen will speak to sixth graders.

U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ-11) will visit students at several nearby schools this week during a three-day tour.

On Wednesday at 2 p.m., Frelinghuysen will meet with students at the Haskell School in Wanaque. The congressman will meet with sixth graders at 8:30 a.m. Friday at the Anthony Wayne Middle School and then around 9:30 a.m. with sixth graders at George Washington Middle School, both in Wayne.

Frelinghuysen regularly visits local schools, in addition to hosting townhall meetings throughout his district, which spans parts of Morris, Essex, Passaic and Sussex counties. He speaks to students about honoring their country and veterans who have or are currently serving overseas and asks kids to share their expectations of their government so that he can bring their feedback to his colleagues.
