Council to Award Bid for Animal Shelter Services Tuesday

The is expected to award a bid for during its work session meeting Tuesday.
The council will also be discussing the authorization of applications to the state Department of Transportation to receive reimbursements for flood damage to Hamburg Turnpike's flood walls, including the , and repairs to Van Dam Avenue, including for repairs to sidwalks, desilting and drainage work.
Also on the council's agenda, the council will be discussing budget shortfalls and commend departments and individuals on their response to the that resulted from Hurricane Irene.
