Dunleavy Elected to NJ State League of Municipalities
Bloomingdale's Mayor joins Executive Board representing 566 municipal governments
Bloomingdale Mayor Jonathan Dunleavy was elected to serve on the Executive Board of the New Jersey State League of Municipalities (NJLM) on November 17 at their Annual Business Meeting in Atlantic City.
The NJLM is a nonprofit, voluntary association that serves all 566 municipalities in New Jersey, including 13,000 elected and appointed officials. The League was created to assist communities in self-governing by pooling resources and information.
According to their website, a nominating committee selects a group of candidates that will provide diversity of population, growth patterns, and general factors covering urban, suburban, and rural municipalities. Dunleavy was one of 23 mayors elected for the Executive Board, and four Officers
