Kinnelon Recreation Fields to Be Officially Named
Local veterans and former councilman to adorn Borough Field and KRP field.
The Kinnelon Council will vote on a resolution to name two Kinnelon recreation fields at its next meeting Thursday night.
The fields are currently referred to as the "," located behind the and the "," on Boonton Avenue. The resolution proposes that the field located behind the municipal building will be named after local veterans and the KRP field will be named after former Councilman Eric Nederfield.
Several councilmembers described Nederfield as being instrumental in the development and construction of the field on Boonton Avenue.

Councilmembers discussed the resolution during a work session on Thursday, Dec. 9, but plan to formally vote on the resolution during the next regular meeting.
