Officials May Require Kinnelon Home Sellers to Have Certificate of Occupancy

Meeting will be held to discuss possible new requirement in October.

The borough of Kinnelon is considering approving a continued certificate of occupancy ordinance, NorthJersey.com reported.

The ordinance would require Kinnelon property owners to obtain a certificate of occupancy when they sell a home.

The website reports that the borough will schedule a public meeting for October to discuss the “controversial” ordinance.
