Question of the Day: Were You Surprised By the Low Turnout in Tuesday's Primary?

In all three tri-boro boroughs combined, hundreds of voters came out to select candidates in Tuesday's primary election. However, this still represented a fairly low turnout when compared to the thousands of registered voters in each borough.

Some voters that so few voters came out, while others said they typically do not expect many voters to show up during a primary election, much less three uncontested council races in the area.
