Sen. Menendez: Putin Op-Ed Made Me Want to Vomit
Putin wrote piece to The New York Times this week.
New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez (D) said that Russian President Valdmir Putin's opinion piece in The New York Times made him want to vomit.
Putin said in the piece that a military strike against Syria without the support of the United Nations' Security Council "would constitute an act of aggression" on the United States' part.
The Russian president also said that "it is extremely dangerous to encourage people to see themselves as exceptional, whatever the motivation," Putin said, referencing remarks President Obama made during a national address Tuesday night.
