Alex’s passing was a shock to all and as one of his former legislative aides, I for one needed several days to absorb the loss and collect my thoughts. Over the years that he honored us with his service, he fought for all of New Jersey, while maintaining his core principles, never sacrificing grace and humility. He was always available as a confidant. He was more than a mentor. He was a role model but most importantly a friend. Larry Casha, Republican State Committeeman, Morris County
