Tropical Storm Sandy is not expected to have an impact on local elections as tri-boro officials said typical polling places will be open on Election Day.
"All of our polling areas have power," Bloomingdale Mayor Jonathan Dunleavy said Friday.
While some of Kinnelon's polling locations were without power Friday, Mayor Robert Collins said the election is expected to run as usual Tuesday.
"At this current time, we're anticipating the polling places to be open," he said.
Butler's only polling place, the Carey Avenue firehouse, does have power and will remain open for the election, Borough Clerk Mary O'Keefe said.
