Tri-boro Primaries: Who's Running and Where to Vote

Tuesday is primary day across New Jersey and in the tri-boro as well. While the tri-boro has no contested council races, voters are still able to vote in the primaries for local and statewide candidates, as well as write in candidates.

Here is a breakdown of who you will be voting for and when and where in each borough. 

The following information was provided by county and borough clerks:

BLOOMINGDALE

WHO: Two council seats (uncontested): Incumbent Linda Huntley (R), Ron Caputo (R), Peyman (Ray) Yazdi (D) and John D'Amato (D).

State Senate (1 seat): Incumbent Gerald Cardinale (R)

General Assembly (2 seats): Incumbent Charlotte Vandervalk (R) and Robert Schroeder (R).

Passaic County Surrogate (1 seat): Bernice Toledo (D), Lawrence G. Tosi (R) and Michael L. McLaughlin (Republicans for a Better Passaic County).

Passaic County Board of Chosen Freeholders (2 seats): Bruce James (D), Theodore T.J.O. Best Jr. (D), Robert Ceberio (R), Frank Fusco (R), Donna S. Anderson (Republicans for a Better Passaic County) and Michelle Joustra (Republicans for a Better Passaic County).

WHEN: Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: the Bloomingdale Health Center (225 Union Avenue) and the Bloomingdale Fire Hall (depending on your district).

BUTLER

WHO: Two council seats (uncontested):  Incumbent Ray Verdonik (R) and Sean McNear (R).

State Senate (1 seat): Incumbent Joe Pennachio (R) and Wasim Khan (D)

General Assembly (2 seats): Incumbent Alex DeCroce (R), Incumbent Jay Webber (R), Elliot Isibor (D) and Joseph Raich (D).

Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders (1 seat): William (Hank) Lyon (R), Margaret Nordstrom (R) and Truscha Quatrone (D).

WHEN: Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Carey Avenue Firehouse

Kinnelon

WHO: Two council seats (uncontested): Incumbent Ronald Mondello (R) and Incumbent Gary Moleta (R). 

State Senate (1 seat): Incumbent Joe Pennachio (R) and Wasim Khan (D)

General Assembly (2 seats): Incumbent Alex DeCroce (R), Incumbent Jay Webber (R), Elliot Isibor (D) and Joseph Raich (D).

Morris County Board of Chosen Freeholders (1 seat): William (Hank) Lyon (R), Margaret Nordstrom (R) and Truscha Quatrone (D).

WHEN: Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Fayson Lakes Clubhouse, Kinnelon Municipal Building and Kinnelon Public Library (depending on your district).
