Tri-Boro Officials Begin New Terms on Wednesday

Annual reorganization meetings will be held in Bloomingdale, Butler and Kinnelon.

Reorganization meetings will be held in all three tri-boro municipalities Wednesday.

The governing bodies will make appointments to various board and commissions at the meetings. Various professionals will also be hired.

The Bloomingdale reorganization meeting will be held in the municipal building at 1 p.m. Democrats Dawn Hudson and Anthony Costa will be sworn in to three-year terms.

Kinnelon and Butler will also hold reorganization meetings.

The first regular mayor and council meeting in Kinnelon will be held Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. Republicans James Freda and Stephen Cobell, the only candidates to run in the general election, will be sworn into new terms.

Butler councilmen Stephen Regis and Edwin Vath, both Republican incumbents, will be sworn into new terms.
