Agency Replaces Bus Contractor Over Safety Concerns

Two students used the bus to go to the Garden Academy in Maplewood.

A school bus route in Bloomingdale was cancelled and replaced with another route due to safety concerns.

Parents told the Passaic County Educational Services Commission (PCESC) they were concerned about the bus driver and bus aide, NorthJersey.com reported.

The bus transported two borough students to the Garden Academy in Maplewood. The route only ran for the first two weeks in September before the PCESC hired another contractor to run the route, the website reported.
