The Bloomingdale Board of Education swore in three new members during the board's reorganization meeting Thursday night.
The meeting started with George Hagl, the school board secretary, announcing the official results of the election, followed by Jeff Merlino, board attorney, swearing in Lauren Grecco, Charles Caraballo, James Schalago and Robert Bloodgood.
Then, Hagl took nominations for board president. Grecco was the only nominee and was voted in 6-0 (Board Members Sheldon Bross and Andrew Samuel were traveling and not at the meeting). Grecco then took the chair and took nominations for vice president. Similarly, Maryann Rickelmann was the only nominee and won with a 6-0 vote.
Among a number of resolutions that followed, Bross was once again appointed as the Bloomingdale representative on the Butler Board of Education.
The superintendent's report included a school board ethics review by Merlino.
