Butler Students Honored for Exemplifying Citizenship

Two Aaron Decker School students presented with award named after former principal.

John Beck and Betsey Nafz, two (ADS) students, were presented with the Bill Hoffman Award at Monday's meeting.

The award, named after former ADS Principal Bill Hoffman, is given to two students per year who exemplify good citizenship and character. In presenting the award, Principal Virgina Scala said this year's receipients "have the qualities [Hoffman] would look for."

"He valued and fostered good citizenship," she said.
