Butterflies Sent Off By Martha B. Day Students

Students showcase a month of learning about Monarch butterflies for parents and friends.

The first grade students at the Martha B. Day School, in Bloomingdale, just culminated a month of study of the Monarch butterfly. They studied the life cycle and observed the states of their life cycle.

The first graders have been learning about the Monarch butterfly throughout the month of September. Friday, the annual Butterfly Parade celebration was complete, as the children shared information and sang songs before releasing the butterflies so they could begin their journey to Mexico!
