CCM Leads State Community Colleges in Student Transfer Rate
Report shows County College of Morris had a higher rate of students moving on to continue education than 19 other community colleges in the state.
The County College of Morris (CCM) leads the state in having the highest percentage of students transfer from the school to continue their education according to data released by the U.S. Department of Education last week.
The data also revealed CCM to have a lower cost when compared to other national community colleges.
The school's transfer rate was 6 percent higher than the college with the second-best rate, according to a press release sent by the school. The cost to attend CCM, about $5,195, was sixth lowest of 19 schools and about $900 less than the average community college's tuition.
