Cyber-Bullying Video Produced by Kinnelon Students

MSG Varsity to feature video segment on dangers of text message bullying.

A video produced by two Kinnelon High School freshmen on the dangers of cyber-bullying will air on MSG Varsity's High School Life program on Jan. 26 at noon.

The video, entitled "PSA Cyber Bullying" is the production of Mike Cafiero and Brandon Bott. High School Life will feature six segments, including "PSA Cyber Bullying," during the time slot on channel 14.

"In 'PSA Cyber Bullying,' the focus is on bullying that occurs through text messages. Lonely music sets the tone as a series of students receive derogatory text messages. Between the texts, the camera zooms in on a phone screen offering statistics and facts about cyber bullying," accoring to a press release sent by MSG Varsity.

The show will also be available for viewing on demand on Optimum channel 614 or online here.

Racist comments, comments about skin, color, weight as well as nationality amounts to bullying and these bullies are nothing but psychos who need medical help. At home, I use a free app called Qustodio to monitor who my girl talks to on facebook as the app allows me to watch the profile pictures of accounts she interacts with. My way of ensuring that she stays safe. Just Google for it.
