Driver Safety Program

On August 15, 10:30 - 4:30, the Butler Public Library will host an AARP Driver Safety class.  The class is open to all drivers 18 and older with a valid driver's license who want to: learn how to drive more efficiently and safely, possibly earn a 10% discount on their motor vehicle insurance, or eliminate negative insurance points and motor vehicle points.  Preregistration is required and space is limited to 25.  The cost is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members.  Special pricing for employees of any school district or public library - $5!  Come to the library with your valid driver's license, AARP membership card if applicable, and a check made out to AARP-DSP to complete the registration form and submit payment.  It is highly recommended, because the class is all-day, to bring a brown-bag lunch.  If you have any questions you may check AARP's website www.aarp.org/drive or call 888-227-7669.  Butler Public Library is located at 1 Ace Road, behind the municipal building, on the Internet at www.butlerlibrary.org, or by phone at 973-838-3262.
