Kinnelon Conserves hosted the fifth-annual Eco Fair at Pearl R. Miller School on Saturday. Between 300 and 500 people were expected to attend the event.
All proceeds from will go to eco education in Kinnelon. Nearly 70 vendors set up tables throughout the school and in the front parking lot. Many were eco-friendly or "green" companies looking to gain new customers.
According to their brochure, Kinnelon Conserves is a grassroots network of local residents who are working with local schools, faith groups, businesses, government and families toward creating a healthier, more sustainable environment for ourselves, and for generations to come.
