Kinnelon Candidate Reflects on Working With After School Program

Another year of fun and learning concludes with smiles and lots of new skills.

Carol Sventy has taught the computer classes and now works as Staff Support in the Kinnelon After School Enrichment Program (KASE). For the last ten years, Carol has enjoyed working with the clever and often funny antics of children in K-5 grades.

“They are quick and eager to learn new concepts and are always interested in the latest technology…I have to keep a step ahead which can be tough, but always fun!” she said.

"Parents also like the fact that their children enjoy the KASE program and if they are a little late in arriving to pick up their child, they know that their kids are safe and well looked after.”

As usual, Sventy is looking forward to the next semesters’ crop of students.

“They are a great and challenging group and most of all, they choose to go to school…after school,” she said.
