Kinnelon parents can register their children for kindergarten next month.
Registrations will be accepted Tuesday, Feb. 11 at the Sisco Building, 109 Kiel Ave. from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 12 at Kiel School, 115 Kiel Ave. from 5 to 8 p.m.
Parents must bring their child's original birth certificate, current immunization records, and proof of residency, which can be a home title, lease, mortgage agreement, signed contract, or copy of a building permit. Proof of residency is not necessary if a child is already attending public school in Kinnelon.
Incoming kindergarten students do not have to be present at registration.
Registration takes approximately 45 minutes to complete and child care is not available.
Parents of children entering first grade in September should register their children at one of these sessions. This will assist school officials anticipate enrollment for the 2014-15 school year.
Forms are available on the school district's website. These forms may be completed at registration or they can be picked up in the Kiel School or Stonybrook School offices.
