Kinnelon Students will Perform 'The Election' on Stage

Production will be performed Nov. 15 and 16.

The play “The Election” will be on stage at Kinnelon High School later this month.

After an embattled student body president resigns in disgrace, Mark Davenport thinks he will cruise to victory in the special election. His opponent is the nerdy Christy Martin, who wants to eliminate football.

Things get interesting when a mysterious Super PAC gives Marin an unlimited budget.

The production will be staged at the school on Friday, Nov. 15 and Saturday, Nov. 16  at 7:30 p.m. There will be a 3 p.m. performance on Saturday, Nov, 16 as well.

Tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets cost $10 for general admission and $5 for students and senior citizens.
