About 80 students will be performing in the play, led by faculty members Annie Raczko and Jennifer Gililand. The students will be singing all of the songs from the film, as well as three new songs from the Broadway show.

"The Little Mermaid" is a story about a mermaid princess and her magical world under the sea and what happen when she meets a human prince and longs to experience his own world. In order to leave her kingdom, she must defy her king father and strike a deal with an evil sea witch: to convince the human prince, Eric, that she has a perfect voice without speaking to him.
