Kinnelon students celebrate the past and look ahead to the future.
Graduating seniors of the Class of 2012 were praised for their accomplishments and helping to build the school district's heritage as the high school's 48th commencement ceremony was held on the football field Friday night.
The sunny outdoor ceremony was highlighted by the speeches of valedictorian David Katzevich, who spoke about his classmates going on to make global changes for the common good of humanity, and salutatorian Jacob Pierri, who urged the graduates to seek their passions in life and do what makes them happy.
