Walter T. Bergen Middle School Graduation List: Ceremony Honors 69 Students
School closed out its 42nd graduation ceremony with a rendition of Bruno Mars' 'Count on Me' performed by the graduating class.
With the school band serving as backup and inspiring school speakers at the podium, teachers and administrators at Walter T. Bergen Middle School saw off 69 of its eighth graders.
The school's 42nd graduation ceremony took place last Wednesday, with Frank Verducci, principal, and Frank Buglione, interim Superintendent of Schools, addressing the students.
Students Bel Amadio, Emily Cooper and Nicholas Schalago delivered a speech to the class entitled "A New Beginning," and Carla Ospina and Matthew Ullrich presented the class gift: a waterproof welcome mat.
The ceremony concluded with Lauren Grecco, President of the Board of Education, presenting the students with diplomas and the class singing "Count on Me" by Bruno Mars.
