Bloomingdale Resident Named Player of the Week
Brittany LaBruna received the award twice already this season.
Brittany LaBruna, a freshman attending William Paterson University, was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference’s tennis rookie of the week for the third time this season. She received the award two other times this month.
LaBruna won several matches last week, including a first-singles victory against The College of New Jersey, the first such win against the powerhouse in more than 20 years.
