A combined 26-point performance from Billy White and Nick Ballistreri was overshadowed as Tyler Raff & Co. led the Whippany Park boys basketball team to a 62-48 win over Butler on Thursday in Whippany.
Raff finished with 26 points and Andrew Holleran added 21 points as Whippany Park improved to 5-1 on the season.
Butler trailed throughout the game, falling behind early and struggling to get back within striking distance.

Trailing by 15 points heading into the fourth quarter, Butler was able to match Whippany point-for-point in the final frame, but came up short, falling to 3-4 this season.

Olivia Dudley finished with 16 points, nine rebounds and six steals as the Whippany Park girls basketball team rolled past Butler, 45-14, on Thursday, according to NJ.com. Mikayla Mulligan had 10 points for Butler (2-4).
