Cross Country Teams Finish Inaugural Season with Defeat
Middle school teams wrap up seasons with meet against Whippany.
bvThe Bloomingdale boys and girls cross country teams ended their seasons with a loss to Memorial Middle School from Whippany.
The boys were beaten 50-15. The girls kept things a little closer but lost 33-26.
The teams earned their first victories against Boonton Township a few weeks ago with identical 35-22.

Agatha Malinowski finished that meet in first place with a time of 9:33. Heather Bariso finished in third place with a time of 10:17. Dentiny Neuberger, Avery Speechio, and Kaysey Scott placed fourth, fifth, and ninth, respectively.
In the boys race, Mark Harland and Dan Schopper finished in second and third places in 9:34 and 9:36, respectively. Colin McKenn finished fourth in 10:10 and Mike Matsakis finished fifth in 10:36. Claudio Federici finished eighth in 10:42.
