Fans Line Up for Autographs, Photos With Michael Vick

NFL quarterback signs helmets, jerseys and more for fans inside Butler Sports Cards Inc.

More than 150 fans lined one side of Butler's Main Street, all waiting to receive autographs and take photographs with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick, while the other side of the street had more than 70 protesters holding signs with vivid photos of abused dogs Sunday.

Vick, who is controversially known for being convicted of running a dogfighting operation, appeared at Butler Sports Cards Inc. for the signing at about 2 p.m. He arrived in a white Audi, as fans sporting Eagles jerseys cheered his name. Vick was unavailable for comment during the signing.

After a few customers entered the store for private signings, customers who either brought their own memorabilia or purchased it from the store were able to enter 10 at a time. Some fans had their photographs taken with Vick by a professional photographer. One fan even asked Vick to sign his arm.
