Spring Sports Meetings This Week

Girls, boys basketball set to face Boonton.

What is Colts Roundup? Exactly what it sounds like-a roundup of Colts games for the day and scores from the previous day's games with links to articles from local news outlets, including ours, all from the desk of Kinnelon High School Athletic Director Scott Rosenberg. Each day, we will bring you the Colts Roundup so that you can consider cheering on the Colts at upcoming games or check up on scores from the previous day or night.

Spring sports preseason meetings will be taking place today and next week:

  • Boys Lacrosse- Today at 2:30 p.m.
  • Golf- Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
  • Track- Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
  • Softball- Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.
  • Boys Tennis- Thursday at 2:30 p.m.
  • Girls Lacrosse- Thursday at 2:30
  • Baseball met on Thursday.

Attached are the instructions for signing up. All paperwork is due by Friday, Feb. 10.

IF YOU PLAYED A FALL OR WINTER SPORT:

  • Emergency Card (Hard Copy)
  • Health History Update (Hard Copy)- If you have an up-to-date physical on file (it expires after one-year)- Download the Health History Update and hand in the hard copy to your coach. If your physical expired (they are good for one calendar year) go here. These forms need to be downloaded, filled out by you ( Part A- health history) and your physician (Part B- Physical Evaluation Form) and hand them in to your sport’s contact person. You must also download the asthma and/or allergy forms if they apply to you. Have them filled out by your doctor and return the hard copy and hand them in to your sport’s contact person.
  • Go online here.
    • Click on “Kinnelon High School E-Forms” Click on “Kinnelon Spring Athletic Packet” (only if you played a fall or winter sport).
    • Submit this information online

**It will require an online signature from the athlete and parent/guardian**

  • Pay to Participate, go here.
    • Click on “School Store on the left”
    • Proceed with Tier 1 (only if you have not already paid the Tier 1 fee for driving or another sport).
    • Add it to you cart and proceed to checkout. They will then ask you to register for a family account and allow you to pay via credit card.

HARD COPIES OF FORMS (HEALTH HISTORY UPDATE OR PHYSICAL AND HEALTH HISTORY AND EMERGENCY CARD) SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE FOLLOWING AT KHS:

  • BOYS LACROSSE- MR. CAPRA
  • GIRLS LACROSSE- MR. LAWLER
  • GOLF- MR. SOULES
  • BOYS SPRING TRACK- MR. FEENEY
  • GIRLS SPRING TRACK- MS. DENMAN
  • BOYS TENNIS- MR. CATALDI

QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO MR. ROSENBERG AT THE NUMBER OR EMAIL ABOVE.

  • Varsity and junior varsity boys basketball vs. Boonton (Varsity at 7 p.m., JV at 5:30 p.m.)
  • Varsity and junior varsity girls basketball at Boonton (Varsity at 7 p.m.,  JV at 5:30 p.m.)
  • Middle school girls basketball at PRM vs. Eastern Christian, 4 p.m.
  • Middle school boys basketball at PRM vs. Eastern Christian, 5 p.m.
