Tennis Player Named Rookie of the Week Again
Bloomingdale's Brittany LaBruna received the award three times this season.
Brittany LaBruna has been honored for the fifth consecutive week by the New Jersey Athletic Conference’s (NJAC) league office.
LaBruna, a Bloomingdale resident, is a freshman attending William Pateson University. She was named the NJAC’s tennis rookie of the week Oct. 8. She received the same honor three times in September and was named the player of the week as well. She won the regional title in the USTA Northeast Regional Tournament.
LaBruna is a perfect 14-0 in singles play this season.
