Boy Scouts Successful in 'Scouting for Food'

Troop thanks community for generous donations.

Bloomingdale Troop 86 ran a successful on March 17 thanks to the many generous donations made by borough residents.

The food drive benefitted the food pantry and the many people who depend on the pantry for donations.

That day, Troop 86 Scouts and their parents fanned out across the borough to pick up donations left on door steps in the yellow bags that had been distributed the week before. Donations were then brought back to the food pantry and sorted and put away for subsequent distribution to needy families.
