I believe the date is wrong in this article. I believe it was April 3 that Vic passed away. On another note, Vic was a great guy. He was always happy and smiling, no matter who he was around. I learned a lot from him in the four years that we were on the squad together and appreciate everything he did teach me. I truly will miss taking calls with him and hearing the stories about calls he had been on in the past.

D Morse is correct. Vic passed away on April 3 not April 27.

BTW, Vic's service to our communities goes back more than 42 years. He was a member of the Kinnelon Rescue Squad which was organized in the mid 1960's as a unit that responded to free those entrapped in motor vehicle accidents and such. When the present Tri-Boro building was opened in 1970 there was a bay for a rescue truck so those members of the KRS merged into Tri-Boro, all becoming very active first aiders also for years.
