Girl Scouts Beautify Sunday School Rooms

Girl Scouts from Kinnelon improve classrooms at the Community Church at Smoke Rise.

Two Girl Scouts have given back to the Community Church at Smoke Rise for their Silver Award service project.

Victoria Prapopulos and Cameron Sharkey have painted and redecorated two Sunday school classrooms at the church for their project. A Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout cadette can earn. The girls had to identify a need in the community they felt strongly and develop a project to meet that need. The girls hae put more than 50 hours into the projects.

The scouts are members of Kinnelon Troop 80386.
