Bloomingdale Board of Ed Considers March Special Election for Referendum

Here are a few things going on in the Tri-Boro this week.

• The Bloomingdale Board of Education will vote on whether or not to approve a special election on March 11, 2014.
  

If the election is approved residents would vote on approving bonds to “finance various capital improvements,” a meeting agenda states.

The resolution authorizes officials to submit applications to the State Department of Education to help determine how much the referendum would be.

• Santa Claus will be in Butler Park on Sunday, Dec. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

• The Bloomingdale Borough Council will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at borough hall.

• There will be a mayor and council meeting in Kinnelon on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 8 p.m., the meeting will take place at the Kinnelon Municipal Building.
