When Applebee's opened about 8 years ago we went 3 times within 3 months, each time somebody in our party of 5 not being served for 30 to 45 minutes after the others. Next time we went was for a family member birthday 6 years ago with that being our last since that family member who wanted to go there was not served until a long time after everyone else was done eating. To be honest I believe this may have been prior to IHOP (International House of Pancakes) acquiring Applebee's on a corporate level but we just have not seen any reason to go there with an excellent diner run by people with decades of experience just a quarter mile north.
