The Butler Burger King location has been the site of a fast food restaurant since May 1967, Goody"s Hamburgers opened replacing the Tall Oaks Motel and Hallfield TV. Goody's was replaced in early 1976 by the present Burger King, both of which were and are owned by Quick Quality Restaurants which acquired Burger King franchises in the mid 1970's. This Burger King may very well be the oldest fast food site along NJ Route 23 with the excepiton of about 10 weeks during the makeover.
