The Butler Museum is located in the old New York Railroad Station on upper Main Street. It houses items representative of the borough's history. There are thousands of industrial artifacts from major industries in Butler that are on exhibit or are stored in the museum, ranging from the earliest residents, the Lenne Lenape Indians, to copper pieces from the Statue of Liberty, Civil War and Operation Desert Storm, Boy and Girl Scout memorabilia, and even a 1900s park bench.
