Ah Sweetman's Gulf operated by Deman & Mark Sweetman now for decades but I remember it being run by their family at least to the late 1950's when my age was only in single digits. It's history goes back a lot farther to the 1930's after the present alignment of Route 23 was moved from Newark Pompton Turnpike (Bloomfield Avenue in Verona to Riverdale) and Paterson Hamburg Turnpike (from Riverdale to at least Stockholm). If they've been around that long they must be good at what they do.
